About

Welcome to Dark Dice!
My name is Kinga — though some of you might know me as Yuuki Shin from my illustration and creative projects.
Here, however, I simply go by Dark Dice — a space where imagination meets tabletop adventure.
I’ve been in love with fantasy ever since childhood — stories, books, movies, and games have always been a part of my life.
I started playing tabletop RPGs when I was sixteen, and now, with over 20 years of experience as both a player and a game master, I know just how exciting (and sometimes challenging!) this world can be.
A few years ago, I decided to turn my creative skills into something that helps others tell better stories.
With a background in literature and arts, years of experience as an illustrator and comic artist, and a growing passion for 3D design — I create tools and accessories for fellow RPG lovers who, just like me, sometimes feel stuck or want to make their sessions truly epic.
At Dark Dice, you’ll find inspiration guides, modular dungeon tiles, printable maps, and (soon!) miniatures — all designed to bring more clarity, immersion, and excitement to your games.
I know from experience how important it is to visualize what’s happening on the table — sometimes it can change the fate of an entire party!
Dark Dice is growing, and I’d love for you to join me on this adventure.
Let’s build worlds, shape stories, and craft epic moments together.
Thanks for stopping by 💜

Character Concept – Bard on the Road

This was one of those warm-up illustrations — a way to get into the mood before diving into “real work.”
I imagined a young bard, traveling across the fantasy realms, collecting stories, getting into trouble, and singing songs no one asked for… yet everyone ends up humming.
I wanted to test new brushes and explore a digital style that still echoes my traditional sketchbook: marker lines, soft textures, and a touch of light — the kind that tells its own story.
It might become a comic one day. Or a cover. Or just stay as a reminder that every epic world begins with one small spark of inspiration… and sometimes a lute solo in the wind.

Work in Progress – Chibi Barbarian

This chibi-style barbarian was my first real attempt at sculpting a tabletop miniature. I had a whole stylized party in mind — a cheerful team of adventurers — but only this grumpy guy made it out of ZBrush… barely.
While I love the concept, the execution wasn’t quite what I imagined. The pose felt stiff, the fur gave me nightmares, and I quickly realized how much more I need to learn. Still, it was fun — and that matters too.
Dark Dice is about sharing the creative journey, not just the polished end. So here he is: chunky, angry, and proudly imperfect.

You don’t need much to start a story. Just a spark. A path. And maybe a little chaos along the way.

Want to say hi, share your ideas, or just talk about kobold encounters? I’d love to hear from you!
